Centralized Data Monitoring System
The government of Nepal has been providing its health services through various health entities including public health posts, urban health centers, and hospitals. Most of the health entities are functional under the management of local governments such as municipalities and rural municipalities. There is a health department which provides necessary support and monitoring to those entities.
Monitoring and providing necessary support to local health entities can be challenging for municipal health departments, particularly due to inadequate data recording and reporting systems, especially those reliant on manual data management.
To address these challenges, the eHMIS offers a centralized data monitoring system to municipalities. The system includes a dedicated admin panel that allows municipal personnel to access recording and reporting tools for each health institution, based on selected time periods. It also features various analytical reports that enable concerned managers to effectively monitor the status of health institutions. Additionally, administrators can manage master data and control access within the system, ensuring a streamlined and efficient approach to oversight and support. Similarly, each health institution is provided with a dedicated admin panel to manage its own records including Outreach clinic (ORC). This panel allows health institutions to efficiently handle their data, including patient information, treatment records, and other essential documentation. By using this separate admin panel, health institutions can maintain accurate and up-to-date records, facilitating better internal management and streamlined communication with the municipal health department.

Health Institution End
The system includes a dedicated admin panel designed specifically for health institutions, enabling them to efficiently manage their records and generate reports in compliance with established guidelines. This streamlined interface allows administrators to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all data related to patient care, medical history, and services provided are accurately documented. Additionally, the panel supports the generation of comprehensive reports, which are essential for regulatory compliance and performance monitoring. By adhering to standardized procedures, health institutions can maintain consistency and transparency in their record-keeping, contributing to improved service delivery and better health outcomes.
Top Management End
In addition, there is a separate admin panel designed for municipalities or top management, providing them with the tools to monitor and evaluate the daily activities of the health institutions operating under their jurisdiction. This panel offers a centralized view of all relevant data, enabling top management to track performance metrics, assess compliance with health regulations, and ensure the efficient use of resources. By having access to real-time reports and insights, decision-makers can make informed choices, address potential issues promptly, and implement strategies for continuous improvement across the health institutions they oversee.
