However, in many cases, they do not retain their doctor's prescriptions or medical history for future reference. This lack of documentation makes it difficult for doctors to assess a patient’s medical history during subsequent visits. Similarly, healthcare providers and institutions face challenges due to the absence of an efficient electronic data management system. The eHMIS (Electronic Health Management Information System) offers a powerful feature that centralizes a patient’s complete medical history, including details about prescribed medications and laboratory investigations. Each patient is assigned a unique QR code, which securely stores their medical records. If a patient is unable to bring their previous prescriptions or medical history during a doctor’s visit, healthcare providers can easily retrieve their information by accessing the system or scanning the QR code provided by the health institution.

This feature not only eliminates the need for patients to carry physical records but also ensures that doctors have immediate access to accurate and up-to-date medical history, enabling better diagnosis and treatment.
