One-Click DHIS2 Synchronization

DHIS2 is an open-source, web-based platform primarily used as a Health Management Information System (HMIS). It is currently the world’s largest HMIS platform, implemented in 80 low- and middle-income countries. The government of Nepal also uses this platform to manage its health related data. There is a seperate section under the ministry of health services as Integrated Health Services, which is mainly responsible to build policy, rules, directories, criteria and protocols related to the national level health management information system by making timely updates and techniques for effective management of health information.  The main work of this section is To prepare and publicly report the annual and periodic reports by disseminating related information related to health. 

Health institutions are required to submit their monthly statistical reports to the DHIS2 system. Various datasets are structured within DHIS2, including reporting status, immunization, nutrition, maternal and newborn care, family planning, and outreach clinic datasets.

The eHMIS streamlines this process by enabling instant report generation for each dataset, allowing seamless synchronization with DHIS2 at the click of a button. This feature significantly enhances efficiency, enabling healthcare personnel to complete their tasks within designated time frames while maintaining data accuracy and quality. However, it is essential that users accurately maintain data in accordance with the recording tools and established guidelines to ensure the reliability of the system.
